Christian Education: The purpose of the series is to discuss the major schisms and divisions that have occurred in the life of the Church and to apply the lessons gleaned from them to our present circumstances with regard to our relationship with the Episcopal Church. We begin with the Jerusalem Council as described in Acts 15. The discussion moves through the Great Schism between east and west, the Reformation, and the ensuing various Protestant divisions. The series is marked by lively exchanges between the pastor who is Reformed in doctrine and thought and some who hold to a more Catholic view
